I empty two quick bars of skills just trying to get through magic armor, and that's assuming they don't use shields up or armor of frost to instantly recover over 10k- which most of them do. Sounds great, but since enemies scale with me (I play on +10 levels) they are all level 36, with astronomical armor values. These pair well with xp reducing mods so that you don't run into the same problem I am currently having: being level 26 in act 1. If you like the grind of combat, there are quite a few leveling mods that take the enemy to your level (or even higher) so that challenge remains. If you love discovering new loot all the time, do not do this one, as you'll get pretty much all the gear you want pretty early and the rest of the game will be boring. This can make or break the fun in the game. Once you do get to modding, there are quite a few mods that cause your gear to level with you. If you play dos2 without it, it is far better just based on quality of life enhancements than the original. The unleashed mod you mentioned changes a lot about the combat of the game, more than just numbers, making it almost as if someone who loved dos2 said "I could write that game better", and did. I beat dos2 about 12 times before I started using mods, and while some of them are great, they offer a lot of changes that can take some getting used to. Try this thread || Discussion Overview I have about 40 mods installed, and my game loads for 10+ mins (5 mins to menu, 5+ mins to load save). PS: Make sure to read the descriptions to them, because some may need to be loaded before others and some may require another mod, a library of assets so the mods work well together.ĪLSO, the more mods you install the longer will the loading times be. I've been using them for almost 100 hours, and there were no problems other than some missing icons. This is just a compilation of some mods I myself am currently using. These are the mods I'd easily recommend, because I've found them to be the most interesting and unique. this one has some pretty OP skills so use at your own risk this one has 2 overrides that you can install, that will change the scaling to whatever you want it to scale from one of the most unique mods I've found, definitelly works well with constelationist summon-based class, adds a lot of summons, raises the summon cap, each summon has its own skillset, definitelly my favorite class mod this really adds to the gameplay, and will probably make you use skills you normally wouldn't adds a lot of cool things, that really help hybrid builds basically, the less armor enemies(or you) have, the bigger chance of applying crowd control
